ATTORNEY JACK LAPOMARDO

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Magna Cum Laude Western New England University 2002; Juris Doctorate Degree, Western New England School of Law 2004

Experience: Licensed in MA & CT since 2005.  Jack handled real estate transactions at a large firm from 2003-2006, then worked at a medium sized general practice firm from 2007-2010. After that Jack went back to real estate in 2011 at small firm and eventually opened up his own practice in 2016 in Wilbraham. Since 2003 Jack has been doing title examinations for his own transactions and for other attorneys.  In 2021 he opened a separate title company, MassConn Title and Closings, LLC. Currently the Law Office and title company run symbiotically. 

Hobbies/Interests: Coaching basketball and soccer, teaching, golfing, enjoying local breweries and restaurants, and watching Boston sports’ teams.

ATTORNEY KAREN ROMANO:

Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree, Magna Cum Laude, Assumption College, 2000; Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude, Western New England University School of Law, 2003.

Experience: Attorney Romano has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 2003.  She has used her legal knowledge and background in both the private and public sectors, in fields ranging from higher education administration to municipal labor relations.  She joined The Law Office of Jack Lapomardo in 2019 as a real estate attorney and title examiner.  She focuses her practice on commercial and residential real estate transactions and title examinations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.  

Advocacy:  Karen is an appointed member of the Town of Wilbraham’s Commission on Disability, as well as co-lead of the Massachusetts chapter of Changing Spaces, a national awareness campaign centered around the need for Universal Changing Tables in public buildings and spaces. Karen also serves as a parent lead of the Hampden Wilbraham Regional School District’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC).

Personal:  Karen is a fourth generation resident of Wilbraham, where she and her husband reside with their four children.
